BCS Proudly Partnered with Christchurch Music Festival 2026

We were delighted to partner with the Christchurch Music Festival, held from 17th–19th July, as its Official School Partner this year.

Across the festival weekend, talented pupils from both our Prep and Senior Schools performed on the bandstand, showcasing the breadth of musical talent within BCS as part of this fantastic community celebration.

Audiences enjoyed a varied programme of musical theatre favourites, solo vocal performances with backing tracks, and live guitar and vocal performances. Saturday featured a smaller line-up, with some pupils performing more than once, while Sunday's programme provided an even broader showcase of BCS talent.

This partnership reflected our shared commitment to nurturing local talent and creating meaningful opportunities for young performers. We were incredibly proud to be part of a festival that brought together families, generations and the wider community through the power of music.

What a weekend it was! We were so proud to see our pupils take to the stage with confidence, passion and enthusiasm, entertaining the crowds with outstanding performances and plenty of smiles.

A huge congratulations to every performer who represented BCS so brilliantly, and thank you to everyone who came along to support them. It was wonderful to be part of such a fantastic celebration of music, community and young talent.
