BCS Sixth Form Sports Students visited the AECC University College with Director of School and Academy Sport, Richard Harrison-Poole, BCS have a fantastic link with the University that supports our academic learning and sporting academies. It was a brilliant insight into the professional world of sports science with testing and talks led by  Phill Heritage Senior Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Physiology, Sport, Exercise & Performance Subject Lead and Human Performance Service Lead. Students had a hands on experience and were able to undergo sports performance analyses, and were able to develop their understanding of what this means for sporting performance and progress.’

 

BCS are also able to take advantage of a series of talks over the course of the academic year, with the first talk being on Wednesday the 18th October, centred around Antidoping and WADA’s regulations.
