Itchen Regatta races

We were very lucky with the weather, sunny and low winds. 

First up we’re Brooke and Phoebe in their double, where they won in a straight final.

Brooke then raced shortly after in a single, winning her heat and going on to win the final!

Louis and Brodie raced their first ever race coming a close 2nd. Great achievement for their debut race! 

Up next was the girls quad; Brooke, Phoebe, Jorja and Chloe with Max coxing. They dominated and won their heat and went on to win the final in a very close race. 

Valen and Finley were then in their double, they won their heat and went on to win their final. 

Thomas and Max rowed really well in their double but we’re sadly knocked out in the heat. 

Lastly Finley and Valen were in their singles. Sadly Valen got knocked out in his heat but Finley won his heat and went on to take 2nd place in the final. 

In total BCS Rowing Academy picked up 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals. Fantastic results! I am so proud of all of them. 

We are off up to London racing next weekend at Weybridge Silver Sculls.
