Beyond BCS

Help others like you

A pupil’s connection with BCS doesn’t need to end when they leave our school. Find out how our active alumni programme supports The Blue Society with careers advice and networking, organises events and aims to help former pupils to stay in touch with each other and get involved with the school via LinkedIn.

A BCS education isn’t just about academic achievement. It is about so much more. We hope that when pupils depart BCS for the next stage in their lives, they take with them lasting friendships, the ability to learn and think independently and an understanding of how to thrive in a community. BCS pupils will have aspirations to make their contribution to the wider world using the Four Cs that they have hopefully had instilled in them whilst here, alongside a myriad other life skills learnt during their time with us, whilst transitioning from childhood to adulthood.

Emma Wilson, above, is a BCS Alumni who left the school when she was 16 and now competes internationally on the RS:X Olympic Windsurfer. She is the current Youth World Champion and also won the title in 2016, and 2014!
