BCS Rugby creates an environment for athletes to develop both physically and mentally.

Providing opportunities to become leaders and independent thinkers whilst developing their technical and tactical understandings. Core skills are at the front of our development plan, our ‘Focus 4’ comprises of Catch Pass, Tackle Technique, Breakdown & Game sense. Our early morning sessions provide an excellent opportunity to work on these fundamentals of the game.

Working closely with Bath Rugby, where possible we try to replicate the principles of the Bath Rugby Academy to allow players to understand the ‘Bath Way’ and gain an understanding of how Bath Rugby want players to succeed in their pathway.


Entrance Criteria

As a minimum players must be able to perform at school rugby level with some previous experience desired:

  • Club players
  • Potential to play at county level
