COURSE OVERVIEW

The Business A-Level course covers four key themes over two years. 

Students will develop their understanding of the key functions in business: marketing; people in business; managing finance; managing resources, in addition to learning the strategic view of business. 

Assessment structure

This is a two year linear A-Level course

Paper 1: Market, people and global businesses                            

Paper 2: Business activities, decisions and strategy                     

Paper 3: Investigating business in a competitive environment      


 

What can pupils’ study next?

Many of our students go on to take a Degree in Business or in connected areas such as Accountancy, Management, International Business or Economics.  

Large companies offer apprenticeships covering a wide range of specialisms, for which this course would provide a good route into these.
