COURSE OVERVIEW

At BCS we run the Product Design A-Level course as a strand of Design and Technology. 

The Product Design (3-D Design) course helps students develop their capacity to design and make products and appreciate the complex relations between design, materials, manufacture and marketing. Students develop an understanding of the design process, create prototypes and form concepts to solve existing problems.

What can pupils’ study next?

Product Design positively contributes to courses based around the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Automotive design, Product manufacturing and design, graphics and careers in the built industry as well as STEM.
