COURSE OVERVIEW
A-Level Geography focuses on adventure, awareness and change.
Students will study Physical Systems, Human Interactions and take part in a number of Geographical debates: for example, climate change and exploring oceans.
There is an ‘independent investigation’ element designed to encourage learners to deepen their knowledge and understanding of their chosen topic.

Many universities offer geography-related degrees. Geography has transferable skills which can lead to a number of careers for example: town and transport planning, chartered surveying, land and water management, sustainability, environmental consultancy, development, tourism, conservation, demography, housing and social welfare.
