COURSE OVERVIEW
The German A-Level exam comprises of four themes addressing a range of social issues and trends, as well as aspects of the political and artistic culture of Germany.
Students will study either two pieces of literature or one piece of literature and one film. There is also the possibility of working abroad.
Paper 1: Listening, reading and translation
Paper 2: Written response to works and translation
Paper 3: Speaking
There are a wide range of courses available at university which indulge languages such as German. You could study a dedicated language degree or alternatively you can study courses such as business with a language.
Speaking more than one language increases your marketability in higher-education and beyond.
