COURSE OVERVIEW
The Economics A-Level course covers both microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts.
Students will look in depth at the UK Economy, business behaviour as well as international trade, emerging and developing economies, the financial sector, poverty and inequality.
Data analysis, problem solving, and evaluation are also key features of this course.

Paper 2: The national and global economy
Paper 3: Microeconomics and macroeconomics
Economics is a very cross-curricular subject and as such is one of the best courses for employment opportunities.
Students could take a degree in Economics or follow other degree routes into Business, Management, Banking, Accountancy or even Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE).
