Teacher of Science

Part time Teacher of Science (0.5FTE)

To start September 2024

We are seeking a motivated, passionate and committed teacher of Science to join us from September 2024.

The successful applicant ideally would be able to teach all three Science disciplines at Key Stage 3 and GCSE and at least one, preferably Chemistry or Physics, to A level.

We are looking for someone with an ability to stimulate the curiosity and interest in the Sciences and who is prepared to give full commitment to the aims and ethos of the Science Department and BCS.  We need energy, ability, positivity and a willingness to go beyond expectation.

Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to be an effective team member, they will show how they have or will contribute strategies and resources to support this growing department and will show a thorough commitment to pupil learning. 

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and learning, with the vision, commitment and determination to continue raising standards across all abilities and further contribute to the progress of our pupils.
