Bournemouth Collegiate School (BCS) is a rapidly growing co-educational independent school situated on the south coast. The School has extensive facilities, on two sites. BCS provides a nurturing environment where the happiness of the pupils comes first.

BCS is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and well organised individual to join the School as Head of Boarding. The candidate must be an excellent communicator who will bring real energy and dynamism to the role, alongside genuine enthusiasm and passion for supporting young people.

The Head of Boarding will be responsible for the overarching management of the boarding houses, maintaining a caring, supportive environment which is dedicated to the wellbeing and education of our students. 

The post holder will be a visible leader with exceptional interpersonal skills who is able to communicate effectively and sensitively with a wide range of stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds. 

We are seeking a strong practitioner who is keen to develop their own practice to the highest level and take advantage of our excellent professional learning environment.


The successful candidate will:

-    Be responsible for the overall management of the boarding houses.

-    Be responsible the line management of boarding staff.

-    Be responsible for ensuring all procedures and documentation across boarding are both compliant and in line with NMS requirements.
