BCS is a co-educational independent school. The school has extensive facilities across two sites; BCS Senior (day and boarding, 11-18) is situated in excellent grounds in Southbourne, Bournemouth and BCS Prep (day, 2-11) is in spacious accommodation in Lower Parkstone, Poole. There are currently approximately 630 pupils on roll.

Early Years Practitioner (Prep School)
Fixed Term Maternity Cover 
Required after October Half Term

Salary: GBP £16,500 - £17,700 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated Prep School Kindergarten team to cover a maternity leave. 
You should ideally have experience of working an education setting, preferably in the Early Years Foundation Stage and the ideal applicant should have a level 3 qualification in Early Years.

This is a full time position working term time plus 25 days in the school holidays, 8.00am – 4.00pm with one day 8.00am-5.00pm.

Subject Leader for Music (Prep School)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced or aspiring Subject Leader for Music at the Prep School. The successful applicant will be proactive in raising standards in music and performance across the school, and teach the complete age range from Reception to Year 6.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about the teaching and learning of Music, with the vision, commitment and determination to continue raising standards across all levels and abilities of our pupils. Residential Boarding Housemaster/Housemistress

The School is looking to appoint a professional and well organised individual to support the Boarding Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on an important role at BCS. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our committed team.

Experience of working in an education and /or boarding setting is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and be confident in providing an efficient and effective service. They will pay attention to detail and have the ability to work independently and use their own initiative.
