BCS Prep pupils took part in a fantastic fundraising challenge over the May bank holiday, raising over £2000 for the NHS.

Along with the help of their neighbours, Luke and Ella organised a cycling challenge for their street. They set up their own fundraising page, delivered their own leaflets and cycled 26 laps of their block every day, completing 26 miles on their bike over five days. The grand finale was held at the end of the week on VE Day, Friday 8th May 2020. They started by observing the 2 minute silence and then were cheered off by their neighbours along their streets in such a beautiful celebration. At the end of the challenge, they managed to raise a staggering £1300 for both the NHS and RSPCA.

Amelia and Max also joined in the fun on their street, and organised their own 2.6 challenge. They too cycled a total of 26 miles around their block, and managed to raise over £750 for the NHS. What a fantastic way to keep fit and to bring the community together!
