Outstanding Results

BCS has a reputation for ensuring that students outperform.  The small classes, the great relationships between staff and pupils, the extra support staff given to students, and the very experienced and highly motivated teachers – all these factors are some of the reasons why the BCS Sixth Formers expect to reach the university and course of their first choice, and why they consistently achieve the very best results.

The school has individual mentors for our sixth form students.  These mentors really help to raise academic standards.

In 2010 and 2011 results showed that:

•  1 in 3 grades were A* or A
• 100% of students gained entry into their first choice university and course
• All Modern Foreign Language students gained a grade A
• 80% of Geography students gained A* -B
