At BCS we believe that it is vital for students to experience life beyond the classroom in order to enrich their knowledge and understanding of specific subject areas and to give them cultural fulfilment. BCS students are spoilt for choice when it comes to school trips including:
- Nepal
- Sixth Form trip New York
- 4 Day French cultural visit to Normandy
- Music trip to Paris 2010, Prague 2008, Barcelona 2006
- African Sanctus music performance at Canterbury Cathedral
- Sixth formers attend a range of subject specific seminars by renown doctors and professors to support their knowledge and understanding
- Two day Sixth form team building at Brenscombe
- GCSE Art and RS visit to Victoria and Albert Museum and Hindu Temple
- GCSE History trip to Amsterdam
- Year 9 Two day History trip to London staying aboard HMS Belfast on the Thames
- Year 8 History visit to Black Country Museum
- Closer to home, students make excellent use of the unique Dorset coastline and New Forest for their geographical studies
- English and Drama visits to Poole Lighthouse theatre
- Science visits to Intech, Winchester
