Alice selected as Olympic Torch Bearer

Alice (Y8), a Swim Academy pupil has been chosen as an Olympic Torch Bearer for the Torch Relay next summer and as a 'face of the Olympics' for Dorset. 

Alice, who has been selected for the swimming Paralympic Trials next March, said 'I am absolutely ecstatic and this is a great honour'.

Principal of BCS, Stephen Duckitt said 'There is a no more deserving pupil than Alice who could have been offered this chance of a lifetime and this selection recognises the many challenges that Alice has already overcome'.
