BCS announces waiting lists as 160 new pupils join in September

The Senior School has reached 340 pupils for September, and has only 10 places left accross the school. We are looking to acquire new classrooms to meet the huge demand for additional places, and envisage that these will enable us to open up new classes in Year 7 and Year 8 during the academic year. The Senior School has moved to 3, and in some cases 4, classes per year group. The new classrooms will enable us to reach a maximum of 400 pupils. BCS is almost full in Year 7 for September 2012 as well so any parents wishing to register should do so promptly.

BCS has opened up an additional new boarding house for September which has enabled the school to increase its boarding capacity to 92. There are currently 6 spaces left in boarding for September 2011.

The Collegiate Prep School is also experiencing rapid growth and we are creating an additional teaching group in three year groups at the Prep School for September. The Prep School will have in excess of 160  pupils at the start of the academic year and demand indicates this will rise to 200 for 2012.
