World Swimming Record Holder joins BCS

Zoe is a four times world 50m breastroke record holder; Commonwealth and European Champion; Great Britain and European Champion; Great Britain and New Zealand International and, in 2011, a GB Swimming coach. She will work alongside Adam Parfitt, who has previously been part of the country's top junior swimming coaching programme, in the BCS Swimming Academy, which is being run in partnership with Seagulls Swimming Club. Zoe and Adam will also coach our school swimmers and work exclusively with BCS swimmers seven days a week. The programme aims to prepare swimmers for the GB and Olympic senior teams and to ensure as many national podium swimmers as possible. The programme is unique in the country as all swimmers have their coaching programme built around their school timetable. Our indoor on-site pool and land based elite athlete conditioning facilities based 10 minutes from school make this the best available swimming training programme for school based swimmers. Swimming sessions are designed to be completed in the working day, therefore allowing top national swimmers the opportunity to meet their educational and social needs as well.
