BAE ENGINEERING CHALLENGE
Year 8 took part in an Engineering challenge provided for us by BAE systems. The task was to design and produce a marble run from only two sheets of A3 card and 1.5m of masking tape in 1 1/2 hours. The challenge was to get the marble from top to bottom in the slowest possible time. Teams were marked on planning, design, team work and their best (slowest) run. The winning team was Armadillo with a time of 14 seconds. Well done to them and all of Year 8 for their innovative designs and teamwork.
