History Comes Alive

Y5 recently visited Corfe Castle in the beautiful Purbecks. "At Corfe Castle, we all dressed up as kings, queens and knights.  We all had lots of fun! We learnt lots of things in the study room, like William the conqueror.  We got to look at the artefacts like animal bones and food that the poor people ate. Some of us got to crush herbs they used to use herb for medicine and put on foods.  After lunch we had a castle tour and learnt a lot about the history and murder stories.
