Celebrating music, drama and dance
Lights were
put up, sound checks took place and before we knew it, it was time for this
year’s Creative Arts evening! The
evening began in a cosmic fashion with the orchestra playing ‘Space Odyssey
2001’. Fabulous solo performances followed
with Charlotte Vaughn Jones, Jack Fuller and Polly Wilton flaunting their
talents in singing, guitar and dancing respectively. Other acts included treats
from The Senior Drama Group which saw northerners insulted and tomatoes
squashed to smithereens!! Dance was also popular this year and a marvellous
display was presented by Harriet Marden and Alicia Woodhouse. A number of
musical groups also took part and budding composer’s work was showcased! The
night finished with an eruption of sound as The BCS Rock Band brought the house
down! The event saw the culmination of
many different people’s talents and areas of expertise which allowed the school
to put on such a spectacular show. We would like to thank all those who participated
in one way or another; it was delightful to see so many pupils taking part
especially as for some it was their debut performance. A good evening was had by all and our eyes
were truly opened to the talented beings this school holds.
