The explorers return

15 students and two staff (Peter Harris, group leader, and Kathy Castle) from Bournemouth Collegiate School have just returned from a life changing visit to Nepal – one of the poorest countries in the world where they experienced a nonstop sensory overload from the minute they stepped off the plane, which was quite a culture shock for some! The trip was balanced by some exploration of this beautiful country with a service element where students taught in a Nepalese primary school. The BCS students were rather apprehensive to start with, not quite sure what to expect but very soon settled into teaching and started to build a rapport and relationship with the children.
