Expedition Nepal

15 senior students from Bournemouth Collegiate School are visiting Nepal for two and a half weeks, starting Tuesday 23rd March. The trip takes in many of the sights of the beautiful country, including a jungle safari on elephant back and a trek in the mountains. However, rather than just a sightseeing tour, students are also working in local Nepalese schools teaching English to primary age pupils.  Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and education is seen as the main way to break out of poverty. Students have raised £1,100 which will be used to equip the Nepalese schools further.
