The Preparatory and Senior Schools are both supported by a network
of BCS minibus routes available at the beginning and end of the school
day. Use of school transport is optional, and is charged to parents on a
termly basis in advance. The network of routes is adjusted periodically
to meet demand: if you would like to use school transport but are not
served by one of the existing routes, please contact the school
transport coordinator (Peter Downs, who can be contacted at transport@bournemouthcollegiateschool.co.uk) through the School Office and we will consider whether there is a way in which we could meet your needs.
The extensive minibus routes are supported by very good public
transport (train and bus) routes to our schools. A number of our pupils
use public transport daily, while a number cycle to school too.
Minibus routes cover Beaulieu, Bournemouth, Brockenhurst,
Burley, Canford Cliffs, Christchurch, Ferndown, Lymington,
Milford-on-Sea, Mudeford, New Milton, Parkstone, Poole, Ringwood,
Southbourne, Swanage, Sway, Wareham, West Moors, Wimborne, Verwood and
all surrounding areas.
The school’s modern fleet of minibuses is also used for transport to the many sports matches and outings on offer at BCS.
