Our Results

 A levels

• 201:12% of grades were A*/A
• Most pleasing were the results in modern foreign languages where 75% of students gained at least an A grade.
• 96% of grades were A*-E
• All pupils gained places at their universities of choice, on the course of choice
• AS results in 2011 were equally impressive with a significant number of A grades banked by students moving on to their final Sixth Form year

GCSE

• 2011: 93% of all pupils gained 5 or more A* -C grade passes including English and Mathematics
• 1 in 3 grades were A* or A grades
• Results showed an 11% improvement on 2010
• 33% of pupils individually gained at least 5 A*/A grades
• Subject results showed some impressive performances, with many subjects achieving close to or above 50% A*/A grades
• These GCSE results make BCS the top-performing non-selective school in the area
