At Arsenal Football Club we pride ourselves on playing as a team to produce imaginative, entertaining and skillful football. We take time to develop and nurture our younger players to ensure that they reach their full potential. By guiding players through our extensive training programs, we have produced many world-class footballers over the years.

The training programs in our Arsenal Soccer Schools have been developed based on the same principles we teach at the Arsenal training ground; developing young players’ technical skills and passion for the game to ensure they become the best players and athletes they possibly can. This will be delivered through a progressive season plan, external Elite centre coaching and fixtures and tournament opportunities.

To be a part of this programme, all footballers will need to follow and adhere to the soccer school philosophy:

R  –  Respect – Applies to team mates, opponents, coaches, referees etc
S  –  Skills – Essential to inspire creativity, flair, excitement and entertainment

L  –  Learning – Incorporate all the principles and never stop learning

What Arsenal Soccer Schools will offer:
Progressive intensive training 4-5 times per week: 

1. Fitness testing/training
2. SAQ / plyometric / flexibility training
3. Goalkeeping specific training
4. Extra external training (eg South West Elite Centre)
5. Player analysis/performance profiling/feedback and match evaluations
6. Player pathways / exit route
7. Competitive fixture programme (against pro clubs, as well as other schools)
8. A link with physiotherapist and sport psychologist

1. Football Leadership (eg Junior Football Organisers, officiating courses etc)
2. Access to Arsenal match day tickets
3. Official Nike Arsenal Soccer Schools kit/tracksuit

Entrance Criteria

Players must be playing in at least club/school football standard or above.

Arsenal Soccer Schools will hold an assessment day for players wishing to join. Assessment will include:

  1.  Team-building warm up
  2.  Technique session
  3.  Game
  4.  Fitness/Agility Test
