BCS Swimming Club

BCS Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club which is fully affiliated to the ASA and it is therefore a requirement that each swimmer must be a member of both the ASA and BCS Swimming Club.

The majority of our members are pupils at BCS but we welcome all swimmers who meet our entrance criteria.

We offer:

• Flexible use of the pool/ sensible training times
• Long and short course training available
• Committed competition schedule
• Elite performance coaching and land training
• One to one training sessions for national swimmers

Entrance criteria

Development squad:

This is for swimmers in Years 4 to Year 6 (approximately) who have  gained or have the potential to gain Regional qualifying times by the time they reach Year 7.

A Fast Track squad is also available for those who have medalled at County level

Age Group:

This is for swimmers from Year 7 who have medalled at County Championships and have gained or show the potential to gain Regional and National qualifiying times.

Youth:

This is for swimmers from Year 9 upwards who have medalled at Regionals and have gained or show the potential to gain National and International qualifiying times.
