Hiring School Facilities
Many of the facilities at Bournemouth Collegiate School are available for hire by reputable organizations, particularly for use during the school holidays, weekends or evenings. Standard charges are generally on an hourly basis, and the 2009 rates quoted below will be increased for 2010 bookings. All users will need to show that they have full Public Liability insurance cover. Please phone or use the general enquiry email form on the Contact Us page to let us know your interests. We welcome both regular and one-off bookings.
The Sports Hall
The school’s impressive Sports Hall is equipped with two trampolines and is marked up for indoor tennis, netball and badminton.
2009 Standard Charge: £37.50 per hour.
The Jones Hall
The Jones Hall has a stage and seating area suitable for meetings or drama productions.
2009 Standard Charge: £45.50 per hour.
Individual Classrooms
Individual classrooms are available for hire.
2009 Standard Charge: £20.00 per hour.
The Swimming Pool
The 25-metre indoor heated swimming pool offers a very attractive venue for swimming classes or swimming club activities and competitions. There are separate male and female changing facilities, and the pool is wide enough for four lanes to be set up. There are no high diving facilities. Users will need to demonstrate that they have their own fully-qualified Life Guard(s).
2009 Standard Charge: £45.50 per hour.
The Tennis and Netball Courts
The school has three tennis and Netball courts available for group hire. They have recently been refurbished with a new non-slip textured surface.
Charges are by negotiation.
The Sports Field and All-weather Facility
The school has a grass Sports Field for hockey, rounders and athletics available for group hire, together with an All-weather Facility which provides a football and hockey pitch incorporating the latest astro-turf technology.
