Our Family - our Boarders

We recognise that being away from home can be difficult for many pupils and to this end we take extra care in meeting the needs of all our boarders.  We encourage companionship, trust, loyalty and honesty amongst our boarders and we ensure that boarding at BCS is like a home from home.

Staff are all fully trained to meet the needs of our boarders.  We encourage them to live with us in a family home, the boarding house, and we enjoy their company and will spend hours chatting to them in an informal and relaxed manner.

We encourage all nationalities to learn from each other, and we regularly enjoy boarders’ themed nights and entertainment.  The welfare of our boarders is of paramount importance to us and we set high standards of pastoral care for each and every boarder. 

We invite regular communication between home and school and we welcome parental and guardian input.  We all want to live in a happy home and family in our private lives, therefore we uphold the same exacting desire for all our boarders.
