BCS is a rapidly growing school. BCS Senior (day and boarding, 11-18) is situated in excellent grounds in Southbourne, Bournemouth and BCS Prep (day, 2-11) is in spacious accommodation in Lower Parkstone, Poole with approximately 630 pupils on roll.

Receptionist /Administration Assistant

Part time, Monday to Friday 1pm – 5pm

Term time only

To start 1st September 2017

£8.00 to £8.65 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Receptionist to join our Prep School team in September 2017.

The post holder will have a key role in the school support staff team, being the front of house and ‘face’ of BCS.

You will need to work effectively as part of a team, have flexibility in adapting to situations which arise and enjoy a varied routine as days can rarely be planned.

You must be well-organised and capable of prioritising own work.

Experience of working in a school or other educational setting would be an advantage but not essential.

Early Years Practitioner

Full time, term time only

Fixed Term – 2 positions available – one for one year and one for up to one year (to cover a maternity leave)

To start 1st September 2017

£7.85 to £8.44 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

£12,069.37 to £12,976.50 (FTE £15,307.50 to £16,458)

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioners to join our Prep School team in September 2017.

The post is to support the early years provision under the leadership of Head of Early Years and the Head of Prep School.

You will need to work effectively as part of a team, using personal skills, knowledge and experience to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and provide high quality care. 

You should ideally have experience of working an education setting, preferably in the Early Years Foundation Stage and ideally be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3.

Music Teacher

Part time (0.5 FTE)

Fixed Term to cover a maternity leave.

Teacher of Physics

BCS is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, professional and talented Teacher of Physics to teach Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level.  An ability to teach the other Sciences and /or Mathematics would be an advantage but not essential.
